Wascally Wabbit...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
We had a great halloween in the Nowling house. Addie dressed up as cute little rabbit. To start the day off, we had cookies for breakfast! Yes, we had some other things too. Later on in the day we went to the elementary school to watch the students costume parade! Addie wore her costume to join in on the fun! Then we helped Grandma Nowling do the halloween party for Aunt Lily's class. We danced the chicken dance, hokey pokey, played hot pumpkin, and pass the hula hoop! We had so much fun playing with the kids. In the evening, we went to our ward's Trunk or Treat. As you can see, Addie was enjoying the rolls from dinner. She makes such a cute rabbit! After we "partied" at the trunk or treat, we went home and watched a classic....Hocus Pocus! To top off the night, we divulged in eating more treats! It was such a fun night. Addie enjoyed all the costumes and candy! I look forward to future years of trick or treating with my sweet little girl!!

Getting so big!

My daughter sure loves to play! She would play with her toys all day if she could. I can't believe how big she is getting! I am one lucky mommy!
We had another big milestone yesterday! Addie checked out her first library book. We have sat and read the book aloud 15 times already. She absolutely loves books!
Gramma and Crappa sent Addie her first pair of ugg boots for her birthday. They look so cute on her baby feet! She loves them. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Time is flying by too fast!

Let it Snow...

Well, it snowed all day yesterday and most of today. It is the first snowfall of the season! Unfortunately, I was unable to get any pictures due to not having new batteries in my camera. I'm pretty sure that there will be A LOT of snow pictures to come!

One Year Old!

I can't believe it's been a year! One year ago on October 21, I was laying on the hospital delivery room bed waiting to meet my sweet Addalei. She has been such a blessing in our lives. We are so thankful for her little spirit. She is curious, loving, and always happy (except for when she's REALLY tired!) I look back on this past year and think of all the wonderful milestones she has accomplished. We are now patiently waiting for her to take off walking! I am so grateful for my little family! Happy Birthday Addie, mommy and daddy sure do love you!

Since we were moving before her birthday, Addie got to have two birthday parties! Here are some pictures of the festivities!!

The birthday party with my family in Arizona. Addie loved her strawberry chocolate cake!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!

The search continues...

We have moved! Trenton, Addie, and I have officially moved to Utah. Our new residence is now a town called Vernal. It's about 30 minutes from Colorado and an hour from Wyoming. That should give you some idea of where it is located. As of right now, we are living with Trenton's parents while we search for a place to live. It is hard to find the right place. Plus, there are not many residences for rent around here. We have been thinking that we may just want to buy a house. There are a ton for sale! We will see what happens. As for Vernal, it is a cute little town and I do mean little. The biggest stores to shop from are Walmart and KMart. I really wish they would bring in a Target......Anyways, I think I am finally getting to know my way around here. The way the streets are named are confusing; it's all numbers like 1500 South and 300 West. I am used to the good old fashioned named streets like Camelback and Bethany Home Roads. I think it will come to me sooner or later. On another note, the weather is beautiful! It's been about 60* during the day and 34* at night. The snow hasn't hit yet. Everyone is saying that it should start in about a month. I guess I better get used to driving in it! Well, that is life as of now. I will keep you posted on the things to come!

Happy October...so far!

October has been a great month so far! We got some very big news on the first, we are moving! That is right, we are moving to Utah. Trent got a great job opportunity working for a natural gas company. It is going to be a huge change for our little family, but I am so excited for a new adventure! There will be pictures to come of the chaos that is happening right now with packing. Oh, the joy of packing!

Summarizing September...

Well September came and went. We went to Utah to visit Trenton's family over Labor Day. We were there a week and enjoyed every minute! We went to Steinecker Lake, Flaming Gorge, the Dinosaur Quarry, the Dinosaur History Museum, the Rec Center to swim, and our friends homes to visit. It was a great time! Trent's parents loved having Addie around 24/7! They don't get to see her very often and loved watching her as her curiosity got the best of her! We also took beautiful new family pictures! Our friend, Naoni, is an amazing photographer. Thank you to her for the amazing new family pictures! If you would like to see some of them, check them out on my blog. I couldn't help but post them as soon as they we were done! I also have to let you know that I have a little fish on my hand! Addie LOVES water. We even took her tubing for a little bit while boating. She couldn't stop smiling! Another big milestone happened while we were in Utah, Addie took her first steps! It a momentous occasion! She has yet to try walking on her own again, but give her time and soon she will be running!

Here is Addie helping Grandpa drive the boat!
Here is Addie at the Dinosaur Quarry with her aunt B!
And of course, we had to take a picture of this sweet girl!

I also made another wedding cake this month. My cousin Amanda married her long time boyfriend in a beautiful evening ceremony! I was lucky enough to make her "country themed" wedding cake. Everything is edible on the cake, excluding the raffia! It was so much fun trying new things in the world of cake decorating...Congratulations Zack and Amanda!

As for the rest of September, not much else happened but it was a great month!
