Our Family is Growing.....

We are excited to announce that baby #2 will be making it's debut in October! We are so excited for this new addition and can't wait to meet him or her? My official due date is Halloween.....but we will see when this little one wants to make it's way into the world!

Here is a new picture of our sweet little family! Well, it's not extremely new. We took it at Christmas time. And no, I did not marry a lumberjack. Trenton just thinks that it's winter beard season :)

RIP

My mom just called me and let me know that our dog died this morning. Millie was with us for 13 years! She was such a lovable, overweight chihuahua. I can remember her sleeping in my bed every night  growing up. Or the time she was ran over by a golf cart. Or the time that my pig and her were playing tag in the backyard. Or the numerous times that she got out of the yard and we would find her in the neighbors yards. Or the time that she was just a sweet, cuddly dog. 

You will be missed Millie.

Not Much Happening Here!

Holy moly, I can't believe it's already March! That means that my brother comes in exactly 23 days! It started at 2 years and is now down to 23 days....time sure does fly! We can not wait until uncle "todo" gets home :) Well not much has happened in the Nowling family lately. Addie and I flew down to Arizona for a week in February. We enjoyed every second with family and friends. We went shopping, out to eat, to the zoo, and just enjoyed being at home. Even though we live in another state now, Arizona will forever and always be our home. Anyways, Addie is growing like a weed! She is almost 18 months old and is definitely a girl. She enjoys reading her books, putting on "make-up", wearing any pair of shoes that she finds in the house, rocking her babies to sleep, and eating popcorn. Man, does this girl love popcorn! We love her so much and are so thankful she is a part of our family. Oh, did I mention how much she talks?! From sun up to sun down, she babbles all day. As I sit here writing this, she is in the background talking to her animals. I can only imagine what she is trying to say!  Here are a few pictures of our growing girl!

Merry Christmas!

We had fabulous Christmas! Addie, Trenton, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Addie especially enjoyed opening every single one her gifts. As you can see by each picture. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. 

My Big Girl...

Addie is getting too big! She thinks it is the coolest thing to sit and lounge on the couch like a big person. It is so funny, but I will let the picture do the talking!

Another Gift....

I AM SO EXCITED! I can't wait until Christmas morning when Addie gets to open her gifts from "Santa." Addie loves to play with toy kitchens. Anytime we go somewhere that has one, she does not leaves its' side. She's going to be my little Betty Crocker. Anyways, for Christmas this year "Santa" decided to buy a toy kitchen for her. He found this one on Amazon. It is a Melissa & Doug brand kitchen set. If you don't know who Melissa & Doug are, they make everything from wood. Their products are durable, non-toxic, and cute as heck! Addie's little friend Berkley has one, so Santa thought she would enjoy one as well! I just can't wait for her to see it!

Tis' the Season for Gift Giving!

All December long people spend thousands of dollars on gifts. It's a way to show their love and appreciation for each other. Of course, my family is no different....well except for spending thousands of dollars. That is just too much money! Every year we draw names from a hat to see who we get to buy or make a gift for. We do this on both mine and Trenton's side of the family. This year Trenton has his sister Anna. Now what do you get a 10 year old? She loves to draw, read, play outside, and is obsessed with playing Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. So, of course, we went with something that had to do with Super Mario. Trenton found this awesome tutorial on a website called instructables. It is a tutorial on how to make a Luna Star pillow. Now if you don't play Super Mario Galaxy, they are stars that help Mario in his quest to save Princess Peach from Bowser. So I went to Walmart and got fleece material so it would be nice and soft and about an hour and half later viola! They are so cute and Anna is going to LOVE them!

Oh the Joys...

I love Sundays! We get to go to church and then come home and spend the rest of the day with just Trent, Addie, and me. Yesterday, Trent and I were in the kitchen after church making a delicious lunch when Addie came walking around the corner. She had the biggest grin on her face and I think I know why....she had figured out how to wear her purse! It was the cutest thing ever. I love this little girl.

Lovin' the chocolate mousse!

Just before we moved in to the duplex, we celebrated my sister in laws birthday! She had a German Chocolate Cake with chocolate mousse filling. Before we had the cake, Addie wanted a taste! Let's just say that she loved it, as you can tell by the pictures!

Shortly after we moved in, Addie was playing with all her toys that have been in storage for a month. It was like Christmas for her! I turned my back for one minute and found her sitting in the back of her dump truck. What a sweet, cute, funny girl!

Our New Abode....

We have found a place to live in Vernal! That's right, we now have our own place. We have been in our new place for a week now and are loving being on our own again. Not that it wasn't great living with the in laws but it is so nice to be just us again. Here are some pictures of our new abode. I think I got every aspect of the apartment. Enjoy!

A New Home Sweet Home!

We have finally found a place to live! I am so excited to move in. I will post pictures just as soon as we get settled in :)

Wascally Wabbit...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

We had a great halloween in the Nowling house. Addie dressed up as cute little rabbit. To start the day off, we had cookies for breakfast! Yes, we had some other things too. Later on in the day we went to the elementary school to watch the students costume parade! Addie wore her costume to join in on the fun! Then we helped Grandma Nowling do the halloween party for Aunt Lily's class. We danced the chicken dance, hokey pokey, played hot pumpkin, and pass the hula hoop! We had so much fun playing with the kids. In the evening, we went to our ward's Trunk or Treat. As you can see, Addie was enjoying the rolls from dinner. She makes such a cute rabbit! After we "partied" at the trunk or treat, we went home and watched a classic....Hocus Pocus! To top off the night, we divulged in eating more treats! It was such a fun night. Addie enjoyed all the costumes and candy! I look forward to future years of trick or treating with my sweet little girl!!

Getting so big!

My daughter sure loves to play! She would play with her toys all day if she could. I can't believe how big she is getting! I am one lucky mommy!

We had another big milestone yesterday! Addie checked out her first library book. We have sat and read the book aloud 15 times already. She absolutely loves books!

 Gramma and Crappa sent Addie her first pair of ugg boots for her birthday. They look so cute on her baby feet! She loves them. Thanks Mom and Dad!
