And the Countdown Begins....Again.

I'm counting down the days.....I'm counting down the days when I can hold you in my arms for the first time, when I can see what you are going to look like, when Trent and I become parents for the first time! I can't wait for these 10 weeks to be up! That's right folks, I only have 10 weeks left. I am so excited and can not wait to meet our little one.

We recently registered at Target and Babies R' Us. I was in awe at all the things that a baby needs. We had no idea what to register for, but I know that everything will be fine and we will figure it out.

Monkeying Around....

I feel as if I am always posting about either the baby or a cake I made. We just don't lead very exciting lives! Well anyways, here is another cake post. I made a monkey birthday cake for one of my good friend's daughters. She is turning 10! When my friend asked me to make a cake, I asked her what the theme was. Apparently, her daughter had originally wanted an Eminem cake. Yes, I am talking about the rapper Eminem. I thought ok....That's going to be a difficult one, but I can figure it out. Well the next day at work, my friend told me her daughter came to her the night before and said she came up with a better theme for her birthday. Her daughter said, "Let's Go Bananas!" and said she would like a monkey cake! Isn't that one of the cutest themes ever? Well I made the cake and I think it turned out awesome. We will see if she loves it! Here are a few pictures, enjoy :)

Another Baby On Board!

As most of you know my sister, Jenna, is also pregnant. She is expecting a little boy August 22nd. Today was her baby shower. I was lucky enough to make little onesie cookies to go with her theme! They turned out so cute!!

Here is a belly update picture! It hasn't grown a ton since the last picture but trust me between all the kicking and jabbing, she's in there. This is at 22 weeks. Only 18 to go!

San Diego Zoo

Trenton's birthday was June 13th. He turned 26 years old!! To celebrate, we decided to take a trip to the San Diego Zoo for a few days. It was so nice to get away from our day to day lives. We spent 3 days in San Diego and 2 of those days at the zoo looking at all the animals and enjoying each other's company. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on the Bay. It was so wonderful enjoying the 68 degree weather. The zoo was amazing. It is so large and located in the middle of Balboa Park which is a tropical getaway. I would definitely recommend going there, but if you do, wear good walking shoes! Here are a few pictures of our trip!
