Everyone always tells you how busy life gets when you have a child. I definitely agree. This little cutie keeps my days so busy right now, I never have time to blog anymore. But I would much rather hang out with her than the computer. Wouldn't you??

Yay!
I've lost 22 lbs of the 30 lbs I gained from the pregnancy. Only 8 lbs to go until I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight......YAY!!!!!!

30 DAYS!!!
It's that time........one month until the baby girl's due date! That's 30 days, or 4 weeks, or 720 hours. However you count it, it's not very far away and we couldn't be more excited!

Tis' the Season for Babies....
My friend asked me to make a baby shower cake for her cousin. Her cousin is expecting a boy so obviously I used baby boy colors. I thought that making a stork carrying the "bundle" of joy would be cute. But it just so happens my first time making a stork turned out more like a duck. Oh well, I still think it turned out great! Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure :)
The cake is made of fondant, royal icing, and buttercream frosting. The "stork" and bundle are made of rice krispie treats and fondant.
